Description

The Pegasus is a winged horse of breathtaking beauty — snow white, with great feathered wings capable of carrying a rider through the sky at extraordinary speed. They are wild and shy by nature, and nearly impossible to approach except by those of Lawful alignment.

Flight: The Pegasus flies at 480 ft movement — one of the fastest creatures in the sky.

Lawful Service Only: A Pegasus will only willingly serve Lawful characters. They flee from or attack Chaotic creatures.

Combat as Heavy Horse: In melee, a Pegasus fights with two hoof strikes, as a heavy war horse.

Tactics / Encounter / Notes

Pegasi are encountered in mountain meadows and high wilderness, never in cities. They can be trained as mounts by Lawful characters who can first approach them — a non-trivial challenge. A trained Pegasus is among the most prized mounts in the world.

Pegasi do not have lairs.
