Description

Efreet are fire spirits from the City of Brass on the Elemental Plane of Fire. They resemble immense, dark-skinned figures wreathed in smoke and heat. They are more powerful than Djinn but also more treacherous and malicious.

Special Abilities

Wall of Fire: An Efreet can create a Wall of Fire (as the 4th-level spell) at will.

Become Incendiary: An Efreet can transform into a living flame, burning everything it touches.

Create Objects: Like a Djinn, an Efreet can create food, goods, and illusions.

Carry: An Efreet can carry up to 10,000 gp weight.

2 Dice Damage: The Efreet strikes for 2d8 damage (range 2–16, average 9).

Tactics / Encounter / Notes

An Efreet bound to service will serve for up to 1,001 days, then depart — and will remember any humiliation or mistreatment. Unbound Efreet are aggressive and will not parley unless confronted by obviously superior force.
